P/M Robert Wallgren
Robert Wallgren was born in 1985 and has played pipes with the band since 1995, when P/M Mathias Cramér started teaching him. A few years ago he competed one season in grade one with Chris Armstrong and David Urquhart Travel. In fact Robert has grown up steeped in Scottish culture, since his parents have been country and highland dancers for many years. They have also engaged themselves in the band in may ways.

Robert's chosen pipe sergeant is former P/M Krister Bergman. Our grade 4-band is run by former P/M Mathias Cramér.

D/Sgt Eugen W Qvarnström
At the age of 10 Eugen Qvarnström became a student of Lars Östlund, a well-known Swedish percussionist and for many years Leading Drummer of the 1st Royal Engineers.

Soon Eugen also established himself as a drummer in the Home Guard Band at Södertälje and at 12 he took part in his first changing of the guard at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Later he has played with many of the finest military bands in Sweden. He has also served as an instructor with the Central Band of the Royal Swedish Army. He also received tuition from Daniel Kåse, a percussionist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. He works as an instructor for the Swedish Royal Army Drum Corps.

Lars Östlund also introduced Eugen to Scottish pipe band drumming and from January 1999 Eugen is Drum Sergeant of the 1st Royal Engineers.
