Pipe Major Robert Wallgren
Robert was born in 1985 and has played pipes with the band since 1995, when P/M Mathias Cramér started teaching him. In fact Robert has grown up steeped in Scottish culture, since his parents have been country and highland dancers for many years. They have also engaged themselves in the band in may ways.

A few years ago Robert competed one season in grade one with Chris Armstrong and David Urquhart Travel.

Professionally, from 2009 Robert acts as a deputy assistant Drum Major for the military band of the Swedish Royal Armed Forces.

Robert Wallgren's chosen pipe sergeant is former P/M Krister Bergman. Our grade 4-band is run by former P/M Mathias Cramér.

Leading Drummer Claes Malmberg
Claes was born in 1984. At the age of 13 he started drumming lessons with our band's former Drum Sergeant, Lars Östlund, at the municipal music school of their hometown Strängnäs. After playing with Strängnäs Drum & Bugle Corps 1997-2005, Claes went on to the Falun Conservatory of Music. He is currently studying classical percussion at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

In the summer of 2006 Claes came to his first pipe band practice. He stayed with us and when he went to Los Angeles for a year in 2008 to study jazz at the Musicians Institute, he also got valueable experience of pipe band drumming by playing with grade one LA Scots. From spring 2010 Claes Malmberg is our Leading Drummer.
